  • Intro to Shibari: Rope Bondage for Beginners

    Thurs., Feb. 11th: 6-8pm: Hosted by Valentine Amartey: Spend an evening with Valentine learning this ancient Japanese art form of knots and ties that will keep your cold nights steamy. Give your partner an experience they'll never forget and learn a sexy new skill together. This workshop is designed for anyone interested in exploring the concept of power exchange with rope, and how this plays out physically in the bedroom. The class will consist of a tutorial of three basic ties and how they can be used singularly or in conjunction with each other to create an erotically charged rope scene. Learn how to tie elegantly with controlled measured technique. Participants will be encouraged to tie and be tied in turn to get a fully rounded experience of this ancient art form. Shibari, at its core, is about the centered control of oneself and one's partner. It can be an incredibly erotic and sensual experience for all concerned and is a rewarding way to add to your sexual skills. The information learned here can be carried through to many real life situations. Materials to bring to class: You will need to bring a rope kit made up of two 15ft. pieces and two 30ft. pieces (can be purchased at Shag for $60) or a Shibari Kit (See below). We've combined our popular Intro to Shibari class with our newly released beginners Shibari kit to create the perfect gift! Shag Shibari Kit includes a Beginners Rope Kit in black (already cut for use), "Bondage For Sex" Book by Chanta Rose, and Safety Shears.

Watch a live demo and pracatice applying this decadent spa treatment to one of your partners lovely limbs as Bill guides you through the chocolate wrap process.
